What a Salesforce implementation actually costs
Honest ranges, what drives the number up, and the costs partners tend to leave out of the first quote.
Nobody publishes prices, so let us be more useful than most: here is roughly what implementations cost and, more importantly, what moves the number.
The three cost drivers
Data. Migrating clean data from one system is straightforward. Migrating messy data from four is where budgets go.
Integration. Every connected system adds scope, testing and ongoing monitoring. Two integrations is not twice the cost of one — it is closer to three times.
Process disagreement. If two departments cannot agree how a process should work, that gets discovered in your project. Time spent facilitating that is time not spent building.
What gets left out of quotes
Training, data cleansing, hypercare and post-launch changes. If a quote does not name them, they will arrive later as a variation.
We give a fixed price per phase, with those items in the scope rather than beside it.
